So... apparently 3 of my games on ROBLOX had major issues that I completely looked over and made the games completely unplayable for people on mobile. When I was working on Rob a Bank Obby and Defeat Dr. Killbot, I was actively working to merge my YouTube channel and ROBLOX account. I wanted to make it where if you played one of my games, you would head over to my YouTube channel and if you watched one of my videos you would want to play my games. To do this, every time I made a game I put a little GUI in the top right hand corner that said, "Subscribe to Jeremy Weed on YouTube". One thing I didn't know though was it stayed the same size on all devices. So while it was nice and small on my monitor, when you played it on a phone it took up more than half the screen. There was nothing you could do about it. And the ratings of the game reflect that. Rob a Bank Obby has a 29% approval rating. That's not very good is it? So jump to today and I removed the GUI so now all can play the game and who knows... maybe the ratings will go back up?

ROBLOX Animations come paired with game!
Recently I have started doing ROBLOX 3D animations about ROBLOX Noobs. And I would say they've been going pretty good!
Here's my first one:
I was pretty happy with it and decided to continue on the concept. Here is my second result:
This one I actually live streamed to YouTube, which you can see here:
For my third one, I wanted to try another "Noobs fighting one" and came up with this result:
I am really happy with all 3 of these. Something I was trying to do is imitate the ROBLOX style of movement, mixed with traditional 3D animation. To do this, sometimes I would choose to emulate stop motion. What I mean by that is there would be random jumps and teleportation in certain scenes. You can see this used in the third animation when the noob pulls out the sword.
Here's my first one:
You can see in frame 20 there is no sword
Then suddenly in frame 21 there is a sword
The motion blur in frame 23 helps hide the trick.
And finally the sword is raised in frame 24.
Another example of this can be seen when the red guy starts to walk:
Frame 91 the character is still.
Frame 92, the character is teleported into a walking position. This is similar to what happens with in the game.
Next for the camera style, I wanted to make it look like it was being recorded by somebody within the moment. I do this by using shaky camera movement, motion blur and zooming. And finally for the style of the background. I wanted to go for a cheap, plastic look that felt a little fuzzy. It felt like felt! Because that's the material I used for the trees and the grass. Another decision was to make it so the world came to an abrupt end just like it does in ROBLOX! After created these animations I decided that I wanted to make the world in ROBLOX. So here it is!
There's a few things going on in this game to make it more like the animations (funny because the animations are made to look like the game). For starters, gravity is nice and low so you can recreate flying through the air like the noobs do in the animations.
I also made it so your avatar is changed to a noob so everybody looks how the characters look in the animations. In a future update I plan to make your face small like in the videos. There's a few popular destinations you can visit that are featured in the videos.
The trees from the animations can be seen in the game.
The wall from the jumping noob can also be visited and is fully destructible!
Well that's all I have to say about these! I hope you enjoy them! I hope to make some more in the near future!
